1934-Ford-Coupe Beau Boeckmann | NORTH HILLS, CA | ’34 Ford Coupe Melding the finest styling cues from the mid-60s show car era into one car is no small feat. Dave Shuten of Galpin Auto Sports in Van Nuys, CA, used only one-off and era-correct parts. Accented by a 3-1/2 inch chop, wedge channel, and a 427ci V-8, the coupe’s signature vibe was laid down by Darryl Hollenbeck at Vitage Color Studio. The Galpin Auto Sports collection includes some wild show cars from the ’60s. The Ice Truck was originally built by Dan Woods in 1968 who spent his early years working for Ed Roth. It was restored by Galpin Auto Sports collection director and master builder Dave Shuten. Painted lavishly by Darryl Hollenbeck(Vintage Color Studio) with chrome plating to the hilt, th coupe was "built to emulate the extreme show cars of the 60’s using only one-off and pre-’65 parts".
