Academy award winning actor Matthew McConaughey has signed with Lincoln to participate in the TV and digital campaign promoting the new 2015 MKC.
In a behind the scenes video released by the company, the star talks about his love of driving. Even stating his love of making a 2 day trp from hollywood to his home town of Austin, a journey he has completed more than 60 times. He of course also goes on to speak about the other star of the video.
“When Lincoln came to me with the idea and the campaign, I liked what the message was about,” he says. “‘Authentic’ was the word that kept coming out.”
The 2015 Lincoln MKC is a compact premium crossover that recently went on sale in the United States. It comes with a 4-cylinder, 2.0-liter EcoBoost turbocharged engine rated at 240 HP while an all-new 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine producing 275 HP is also available.
