Previous generations of the Ford Focus RS boasted 305 HP and were only available in Europe. Finally U.S buyers will have access to the 2016 model in the states which is expected to come equipped with 315 hp.
The exterior features a sporty look with an aggressive grille. Drivers can expect a more fun, engaging drive thanks to all-wheel drive and significant more power than previous editions. The new Focus RS is expected to be super fast and reach 60 miles per hour in less than 4.7 seconds with top speeds of up to 162 mph. Speed and acceleration is comparable to that of the Ford Mustang. The 2016 Ford Focus RS will also come with its own launch control which will aid with acceleration.
The all new 2016 Focus RS will be powered by a 2.3 Liter Ecoboost engine with 350 lb feet of torque. Optimum drive helps to maintain maximum torque while managing traction control and setting the dampers. Various driving modes will be available including normal, sport and track modes. Enthusiasts will be able to enjoy drift mode which will allow the driver to sliding the car around the track.
